The Sunshine Dress was designed to feature the stunning qualities of our Marigold stitch shibori. Beautifully detailed with pintucks at the front and back that release into the perfect amount of volume, and an adjustable panel inserted at the sides to provide versatilty in how you choose to wear the dress.

a twist on the resist dye techniques of India and Japan, our stitch shibori is a painstaking process that involves accordian pleating the fabric from selvedge to selvedge, running it through with 40 to 50 rows of stitching, dyeing the fabric, and then removing all of the stitch lines and engineering the pattern created to blend perfectly with its paired garment.

We’ve reimagined this technique for summer in the finest cotton voile, and dyed the fabric in the richest levels of yellow to evoke the sunshine and the sense of warmth and serenity that it brings.
