This new Chris shirt is our innovative take on a classic white poplin shirt. Prior to making the garment the fabric has been folded and stitch through the folds, the stitches are later removed revealing a perforated texture and if you look closely you will notice the tiny tiny holes through out the garment . this intricate technique is very labor intensive but it adds both texture and a unique interest to the garment.In the spirit of this we also decided to let some of the folded fabric stay folded in areas like the cuffs and for the edges to be raw.
The silhouette of the Chris is inspired by a classic relaxed mens shirt with a box pleat detail at the back, a shirt tail and accentuated side gussets .
Washing ; we recommend to machine washed in cold and hang dry . if iron the holes and texture will get lost so recommend to steam this garment if needed.
