The utility skirt , this silhouette is a new style for fall. We wanted to design a skirt shape that balance the feminine mood of a skirt with utility details. This skirt has a waist band ,dropped yoke seam with hidden pocket into the seam , a button front placket opening and a half lining .
This style is hand block printed in a combination of two different plaid patterns and shades. A deep navy fuchsia plaid mixed with a green and Marin geometric layout . The mix and match patterns gives playful yet subtle look. The fabric we used for this style is our hand spun silk cotton , the semi transparent texture and slight sheen of this textile and elevates and gives a twist to this skirt.
